Comedian Colin Jost, co-head writer for NBC's "Saturday Night Live," will be coming to Detroit this weekend, and he may bring along some of his co-workers.

“DETROIT. I’m coming to the Fillmore this Sunday with some SNL friends," Jost wrote in a Wednesday Instagram post promoting the performance.

Could it be his "Weekend Update" co-anchor Michael Che, or other cast members like Heidi Gardner, Mikey Day, James Austin Johnson or Alex Moffat? Or perhaps some of his fellow comedy writers who craft jokes behind the scenes are joining him on the road.

A spokesperson for NBCUniversal didn’t have more on who would join him.

Jost started writing for ‘SNL’ in 2005 and since 2014 has co-anchored "Weekend Update," a popular segment in which news and current affairs of the week are satirized.

Two years ago, “A Very Punchable Face,” a memoir by the Staten Island native and Harvard University graduate, was listed on the New York Times' Best Seller’s list.

Jost will be at The Fillmore, 2115 Woodward Ave. in Detroit, at 7:30 p.m. June 5.
