Mar. 7—BOYS BASKETBALL

BIG NINE CONFERENCE

—Emmanuel Manyuon paced Austin with 24 points. Teyghan Hovland added 14 points and Gage Manahan and Dieth Duop had eight apiece.

HIAWATHA VALLEY LEAGUE

—Jace Bigelow scored 17 points, Camden Holecek 16 and Jake Hallstrom 13 as Kasson-Mantorville edged Lourdes 51-49 in Hiawatha Valley League play.

SOUTHEAST CONFERENCE

—Chase Johnson had 20 points and Isaac Collier 18 in LeRoy-Ostrander's 63-50 win over Mabel-Canton. Cayden Tollefsrud had 20 for M-C.

—Lyle/Pacelli turned a close game at halftime into a rout as it beat Schaeffer Academy 63-43. The Athletics have won 11 of their last 12 games. It was another big game for Buay Koak. The lanky Athletics sophomore scored 23 points.

NON-CONFERENCE

—Kyle Fredrickson and Thomas Menk each scored 16 points and Sam Bronk had 14 in Lewiston-Altura's 65-48 win over Pine Island.

—Cayden Tollefsurd poured in 30 points and hit six 3-pointers in Mabel-Canton's dramatic 55-54 win over Cotter. Payton Weifenbech had 16 points for the Ramblers.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

NON-CONFERENCE

—Caledonia held Triton to 10 first-half points, then went on to a 72-22 win. It was another balanced effort by the Warriors, with Ava Privet scoring 18 points, Alexis Schroeder 15 and Adie Treptow 12.
