Bravehearts 5, Westfield 4: T.J. Wachter's single to left in the top of the ninth helped the Bravehearts (18-26) rally for a win over the Starfires (21-22).

Worcester trailed, 4-0, after five innings, but relievers Matt Pizelli, Jared Kapurch (St. Peter-Marian) and Zander Gilmartin came on to provide five scoreless innings to allow the Bravehearts' bats to come alive.

Worcester's Kosta Drosidis, who starred at St. Peter-Marian and Anna Maria College, put the Bravehearts on the board in the fifth with a sacrifice fly.

Cam Seymour reached on a dropped third strike to start the top of the seventh, then Worcester drew back-to-back walks to load the bases. Seymour came home on a passed ball to cut the lead to 4-2, then after Jack Goodman singled to load the bases again, Matt Livingston (St. John's) walked to make it 4-3.

The wildness continued for Westfield, as Sal Grinstead scored on the third passed ball of the inning to tie the game.
