Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb continue to seemingly shut down rumors of an alleged feud between the two.

The Today host spoke with PEOPLE about sharing a special bond with Kotb due to being older parents.

"We talk a lot about being older moms, that we're in our 50s but our kids are little, and there are minuses to that, but we both definitely feel like it gives you perspective and it does make you calmer as a parent," Guthrie said.

She went on to explain that she and Kotb relate on many levels as parents, as they are also both in the spotlight raising children.

"Raising kids when their moms are in the public eye, that's something that we talk about and are wanting to be really thoughtful about. Also how much we talk about our kids and how much we want to post pictures of our kids," the 50-year-old expressed.

The host divulged one thing that makes it easy to relate to Kotb, noting that the two are "going through a lot of the same things at the same time."

"Our kids are the same age but we're also in a similar place in life and similar career," the mom-of-two said.

Guthrie shares 7-year-old daughter Vale and 5-year-old son Charles with husband Michael Feldman, while Kotb has two daughters—5-year-old Haley Joy and 3-year-old Catherine—with ex-fiance Joel Schiffman.

The statements on the status of the hostesses' relationship come days after rumors flew surrounding a so-called feud taking place on the Today show set after Page Six reported an "underlying competitiveness" between the two ladies.

Rest assured, the feud rumors seem to now be squashed with Guthrie opening up about the special bond they share, and Kotb sharing a photo to her Instagram account hugging her co-anchor as they filmed the morning segment.

"Just because-- and thank you!!! It was absolutely perfect !! Xoxoox," Kotb captioned a social media post just a few days after Guthrie wished her a happy birthday.

We love to see these two women supporting each other through life and their career journeys!
