Savannah Stopover Music Festival announces local band line-up, kickoff event at Service Brewing

On Thursday, the Savannah Stopover Music Festival released their list of ten local bands selected to perform at the 2022 festival, which will take place on March 11 and 12 at the Georgia State Railroad Museum.

Reverend Bro Diddley and the Hips, Donna Savage, Lyn Avenue and Basically Nancy return to the Stopover stage while six bands will play Stopover for the first time: Anna Kellam, Bastardane, Chipper Bones, Calico MD, Little Gracie, and Superhorse.

The festival also announced the addition of an opening night event on Thursday, March 10, at Service Brewing Company. Service is the exclusive beer sponsor for Savannah Stopover, and this year’s custom Stopover brew, “I Am The Roadie,” will be on tap throughout the evening.

The event will kickoff at 7 p.m. with an all-star local lineup, including Reverend Bro Diddley and the Hips, Donna Savage and Superhorse.

The opening night event is open to all 2-day General Admission and 2-day VIP Pass Holders. The general public, as well as Stopover patrons with a Friday or Saturday Single-Day Festival pass, may purchase a separate ticket to the event for $25 (limited availability). Stopover COVID-19 policies in place at the time of the festival will be in effect for this show.
