Mackenzie-Childs' annual Barn Sale is now on—online, that is. The highly-anticipated event is completely virtual this year, thanks to an uptick in the demand for a digital edition following the pandemic. "We are excited to continue to be able to celebrate with our customers, friends, and family again this year,” John Ling, CEO of MacKenzie-Childs, said in a statement. “Last year was our most successful Barn Sale to date. The online-only format allowed us to reach a much wider national audience, and sales increased by almost 50%."
Since the sale began, the brand—which is granting up to 70% or more off of its best-selling enamelware, quirky furnishings, and over-the-top decor—has already sold out more than half its inventory. "We hope to continue the momentum and offer our customers the safest and most convenient shopping experience," Ling says. "Our marketing team will be working hard to bring our fans together virtually in a way that best mimics the on-farm experience we know that everyone misses."
