The 2023 majors are The Masters (April 6-9) at the Augusta National Golf Club; the PGA Championship at the Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y. (May 18-21); the U.S. Open at the Los Angeles Country Club (June 15-18); and the Open Championship at Royal Liverpool in Hoylake, England (July 20-23).

The top-70 players on the FedEx Cup points list after the final regular-season event will advance to the playoffs, beginning with the FedEx St. Jude Championship Aug. 10-13, 2023. The top-50 in points after that will advance to the BMW Championship and the top-30 from there move on to the Tour Championship Aug. 24-27, 2023 at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.

There will be bonus pools totaling $145 million, including $75 million for the FedEx Cup, $20 million for the Comcast Business Tour TOP 10 and $50 million for the Player Impact Program.

The top-70 players will retain their PGA Tour cards for the following season as the Tour transitions back to a calendar-year schedule in 2024. The "core" FedEx Cup season will be January to August in 2024 and those outside the top-70 can compete for points in the fall schedule to keep their cards.

“We’ve heard from our fans and the overwhelming sentiment was that they wanted more consequences for both the FedExCup Regular Season and the Playoffs, and to further strengthen events that traditionally feature top players competing head-to-head,” said PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan in a statement. “We feel strongly we’ve accomplished all of these objectives and more, creating a cadence of compelling drama for every tournament throughout the season."

After the events in the fall of 2024, the Tour will introduce a series of international events that include the top-50 players from the final FedExCup Points list, the top performers in the fall and additional eligibility as part of a limited-field, no-cut format. Further details on the fall events and the global series are expected to be announced later this year.
