Save money on deals, giveaways on Dallas-Fort Worth National Outlet Shopping Day

Thousands of deal hunters will be heading to Dallas-Fort Worth outlets later this spring, namely Grapevine Mills, Allen Premium Outlets and Grand Prairie Premium Outlets.

The second-annual National Outlet Shopping Day will be celebrated June 10 and 11 across more than 90 Simon outlet malls in the U.S. and Canada. During “the biggest outlet savings event of the year,” retailers will offer hundreds of deals, rare finds on sought after brands and giveaways. Limited-time offers will also be available at ShopPremiumOutlets.com.

“We know consumers are making difficult choices about how to prioritize their spending,” said Trudy Cresswell, director of marketing and business development at Grapevine Mills, in a news release. “During National Outlet Shopping Day, we want to give our shoppers a chance to reclaim the joy and exhilaration of finding a great deal on something they really want, without breaking their budget.”

This year, shoppers who open a Simon American Express® Credit Card from Cardless will receive rewards on select purchases when shopping at a Simon outlet during the two-day event. Cardholders will get 6% in statement credits on purchases made at any Grapevine Mills, Allen Premium Outlets and Grand Prairie Premium Outlets retailer. They’ll also receive 10% at stores including Aéropostale, Brooks Brothers (Allen and Grand Prairie only), Forever 21 (Grapevine and Allen only), Reebok (Allen and Grand Prairie only), Lucky Brand (Allen and Grand Prairie only) and Nautica (Grapevine and Allen only). Cardholders will get a $10 food and beverage credit to be used that weekend at any Grapevine Mills, Allen Premium Outlets and Grand Prairie Premium Outlets restaurant and a free National Outlet Shopping Day tote bag.

Power shoppers can now enter to win Simon’s Ultimate Outlet Shopping Giveaway, in which the winner and three friends will receive an all-expense paid trip, valued at more than $50,000, to spend National Outlet Shopping Day weekend at the Orlando Premium Outlets and Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Florida.
