‘Saved by the Bell’ reboot announces Peacock premiere date

Peacock is going back to school.

The reboot of “Saved by the Bell” will premiere on NBC’s streaming service on Nov. 25, just in time for Thanksgiving, the network announced Tuesday.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar will reprise his role as Zack Morris alongside returning stars Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano) and Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater).

“When California governor Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many underfunded high schools, he proposes they send the affected students to the most well-funded schools in the state – including Bayside High,” the logline reads.

“The influx of new students gives the privileged Bayside kids (who never have a problem that can’t be solved in twenty-two minutes) a much-needed dose of reality.”

The incoming class includes Belmont Cameli, Dexter Darden, Mitchell Hoog, Alycia Pascual-Peña, Josie Totah and Haskiri Velazquez, led by John Michael Higgins as Principal Toddman.
