Sazon Kitchen brings Mexican fare to Ballard

A new Mexican spot has made its debut in the neighborhood. The newcomer to Ballard, called Sazon Kitchen, is located at 7301 15th Ave. NW.
This new business specializes in Mexican sandwiches and egg-centric dishes. From tortas to egg sandwiches to chilaquiles, this spot hopes to satisfy your Mexican cravings.
According to the business' Facebook page, it serves up "breakfast and lunch menus... inspired [by] Baja California, or 'the Mexican Mediterranean.' "
Sazon Kitchen has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.
Michael T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 13, wrote, "They were still working out some of the kinks in kitchen but I got to say this cuisine is definitely eclectic and the food was delicious. We got two individual egg meals, one with goat cheese and chicken and the other with shrimp. Once they get their liquor license this place will be ideal for Sunday brunch."
Yelper Megan F. added, “Loved my veggie omelet this morning. I can't wait to try more things on the menu. My meal was reasonably priced and even more delicious. I definitely will recommend to my friends.”
