SBC baseball: Gibsonburg's Hoover, Henderson, Rodriguez first-team in River Division

Gibsonburg freshman pitcher Nolan Hoover, senior infielder Tyler Henderson and senior outfielder Austin Rodriguez were recognized as first team selections in the Sandusky Bay Conference River Division for baseball.

Lakota senior pitcher Ben Hovis and senior outfielder Cam Burley were also named to the first team. Senior catcher J Matz, junior infielder Mitch McDaid, sophomore infielder Chase Dussel and junior outfielder Kenny Rice were selected to the second team.

Old Fort senior infielder Casey Clouse was a first-team selection, while junior pitcher Isaac Snyder and sophomore outfielder Isiah Perez were named to the second team. Sophomore catcher Carter Dubois was an honorable mention pick.

St. Joseph Central Catholic senior Tyler Kocsis was a second-team selection.

Also for Gibonsburg, Golden Bears junior pitcher Martin Myerholtz was named second-team and senior outfielder Justin Adams was honorable mention.

Hopewell-Loudon senior catcher Ashton Bour was named the most outstanding performer. Sophomore pitcher Caine McDonald, senior infielders Tyson Swanagan and Tyler Fedele, and senior outfielder Eric Hoover were also selected to the first team.

Tiffin Calvert junior infielder Nick Palm and senior outfielder Garrett Spaun, and New Riegel freshman outfielder Shane Jones were first-team picks.

SBC Lake Division

Bellevue senior pitcher Ethan Mohr and senior infielder Mason Bova were first-team selections.

Clyde senior pitcher Eian Howey, senior infielders Dillon Overmyer and Kaiden Olson, and senior outfielder Will Lozier were second-team picks.

From Bellevue, senior infielder Carter LaPata and sophomore outfielder Jax LaPata were second-team. Senior outfielder Preston Ray was an honorable mention choice.

Tiffin Columbian senior pitcher Carson Mellott and Vermilion senior infielder Ethan Hendrickson shared the most outstanding performer award.

Norwalk senior catcher Sam Battles, senior infielder Ian Minor and senior outfielder Eli Obringer; Columbian senior Jaden Myers; Perkins senior outfielder Luke Walton and junior outfielder Landon Kim, and Vermilion senior outfielder Jack Wells were also first team selections.

SBC Bay Division

Oak Harbor freshman catcher Braydin Butzin and freshman infielder Mike LaLonde were first-team picks.

Port Clinton senior outfielder Anthony Aukerman was named to the first team while senior infielder Luke Halsey was second-team and senior infielder Garrett Cornell was honorable mention.

Senior infielder Ben Palomo and junior outfielder Colson Biehl of Margaretta were first-team picks. Sophomore outfielder Kellen Moore was named to the second team and junior catcher Reese Keegan was honorable mention.

Also for Oak Harbor, sophomore outfielder Tim Marquette was a second-team choice and junior infielder Hayden Craig was named honorable mention.

Edison senior pitcher Thomas Simon was the most outstanding performer. Huron senior pitcher Joey Schade and senior outfielder Cody Mamere; Edison junior infielders Clint Finnen and Hayden Fry and senior outfielder Xander Danner were also selected to the first team.
