SCAD Art Sales Office Opens in Atlanta

The Savannah College of Art and Design's Atlanta campus is now home to a new SCAD Art Sales office, designed to simplify the artwork search for commercial and residential interior design projects. Opened to coincide with the school's 40th anniversary this year, the location joins SCAD Art Sales outposts in Savannah, Hong Kong, and Lacoste, France.

“Designers have access to thousands of pieces of high-quality artwork from emerging and established SCAD artists,” explains Atlanta director Rachel Evans, who helps source art in a range of mediums including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. The office also connects shoppers with murals and outdoor installations.

On offer are curated works by emerging artists as well as pieces by established professionals like Michael Scoggins, who has exhibited at MoMA. The service includes white-glove delivery and installation almost anywhere in the world.

Evans provides a unique perspective as a working artist and SCAD graduate. “I am able to bring fortified relationships with my fellow SCAD alumni fine artists, and an in-depth understanding of the art-making process,” she says. Of the global network of SCAD alumni and students, which totals over 45,000, more than 400 artists and 3,000 works are listed with SCAD Art Sales, in addition to near-endless options for custom artwork.
