Scalar Wave Therapy LLC offers unique therapies to region
Jan. 23—Inspired by past experiences at energy enhancement centers around the country, Fred and Patty Rigo opened Scalar Wave Therapy, LLC in Logansport in August 2023.
The health center offers massage therapy, energy enhancement systems and Plasma Theraphi Med Bed Therapy.
The therapy device allegedly creates precise frequencies for the production of "Bio-Active Field," which, according to the website, affects the body's cellular regenerative system, the actual "healing" system in the body.
"And so far, many people say they almost have instant positive results from it, although we do not promise people that they would have anything like we did or certain other people did," Fred Rigo said.
According to Scalar Wave Therapy, LLC's website, energy enhancement systems, or EESystems, generate bio-active life enhancing energy fields that can allow various health benefits such as cell regeneration and pain relief. At the center, people are invited to relax on either a zero gravity chair or a cushioned cot in a Scalar Wave meditation room.
After they have relaxed, they can experience the Plasma Theraphi Med Bed, which is one of only two in the Midwest, Frigo said. This device sends scalar waves into the body as people lay on the bed, which energizes cells in the body, he said.
"When your cells are energized, that helps your body in general," Frigo said. "And we have had people tell that various ailments of theirs have been alleviated through these sessions."
The center also partners with Northern Indiana Hyperbarics LLC to offer services such as oxygen therapies and a therapeutic sauna, although some of these services are only available at their Mishawaka facility, Frigo said. They have also partnered with local masseuse Julie Thomison to provide massages in the scalar room.
"And we also offer an ionic foot bath after (the Plasma Therapi Med Bed), and we also offer people free ionized water to help hydrate them before and after these sessions," Frigo said.
Frigo said they have 87 members of their private membership association and have had many people say they have experienced positive results. However, both Fred and Patty Frigo said these effects are not promised and it affects people differently depending on what is happening in their body.
"We hope that we're able to help people not only in this part of north central Indiana, but in the entire Midwest. And eventually as people come here, it will help Logansport because they will use restaurants, gas stations, et cetera, as they visit here," Frigo said. "We have had people as far away as Valparaiso, South Bend, Fort Wayne, Mishawaka, Monticello, and, of course, Rochester, Kokomo, Galveston and, of course, Logansport. So, people have traveled a distance to us because so far we are the first and only Energy Enhancement System center open to the public in northern Indiana."
