This film is set 65 years after a masked serial killer terrorized the small town of Texarkana and now the "moonlight murders" are happening again. Is it a copycat murderer or something more sinister? This horror film is based on the novel by Nanami Kamon and follows two best friends and roommates that are terrified by the vengeful spirits dwelling in their apartment. Directed by Ben Jagger and starring Francesca Xuereb, Viktoria Vinyarska and Eric Wiegand.

The Mist (2007)- Netflix

This sci-fi horror film is based on the Stephen King novella about a freak storm that unleashes a species of bloodthirsty creatures on a small town, where a small band of citizens hole up in a supermarket and fight for their lives. Directed by Frank Darabont and starring Marcia Gay Harden, Laurie Holden and Andre Braugher.

Filmed at Stageworks on Clyde Fant and other various locations in Shreveport in addition to Tom's Market in Vivian and various locations in Minden.
