Scenes from 2023 WRCA World Championship Ranch Rodeo's opening night

The 28th annual Working Ranch Cowboys Association (WRCA) World Championship Ranch Rodeo opened Thursday at the Amarillo Civic Center and continues through Sunday, with teams from Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas vying for the top scores.

WRCA is a celebration of the working cowboy, its heritage and the contributions the cowboy has made to this country. This year's rodeo features activities ranging from the ranch horse show, various trade shows, music, cowboy poetry and a legends tribute to the Youth World Championship Ranch Rodeo, Youth Cow Horse Championship and more.
