Schaeffers welcome son in Florida
Petty Officer 1st Class Geoffrey and Andrea Schaeffer of Beloit welcomed a son, Waylen Paul Schaeffer, on Sept. 9, 2022.
Waylen was born at Scared Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.
Waylen is the grandson of Dr. Kristine Shoemaker and the late Kenneth Schaeffer of Beloit, and the first grandchild of Dave and Marlyin Wingett of Beloit.
The family resides in Gulfbreeze, Florida, where Geoffrey serves on Naval Air Station Pensacola as director of physical exams.
