Feb. 16—Local residents are being invited to come out and play during the annual Founders Day, which is scheduled to feature a full lineup of live music and activities for all ages.

The free event, presented by the Rockwall Parks and Recreation Department, is set for May 20, between 1 and 10 p.m. at Harry Myers Park. The day will include a Kid's Zone, offering bounce houses, rides, yard games, a ninja course and an interactive animal show.

There is also expected to be an array of arts and crafts and other items for purchase as well as plenty of food vendors. Additional vendors are still being sought and applications can be submitted online at tinyurl.com/539v6can.

A live music concert caps the night, beginning at 6 p.m. with the legendary Bellamy Brothers opening for the headliner, Easton Corbin, who is scheduled to take the stage at 8 p.m.
