Schitt's Creek stars Dan Levy and Catherine O'Hara bumped into each other at Paris Fashion Week this month, and Levy shared on social media an adorable photo of their reunion.

Having portrayed David and Moira Rose across six seasons of the sleeper-hit sitcom, they're everybody's favourite mother-and-son partnership on screen. But the greatest gift is that Levy and O'Hara are buddies out in the real world, too.

Posting an Instagram selfie straight from the Loewe Fall 2023 Ready-to-Wear Runway Show, Levy sent his followers into what can only be described as hysteria in the comments section.

"David and Moira sitting front row at Loewe erases everything else at Paris Fashion Week," one commenter boldly declared. Meanwhile, two others wrote, "I knew I felt the world shift back into balance", and "You are gonna break the internet. Proceed with caution".

"I think I speak for everyone when I say do another season pls" and "You both need to show up [to] posh places in character. The world needs David and Moira judging us," a pair of Schitt's Creek lovers went on to suggest.

Other fans responded: "Aw this makes me so happy!!!!", "Really no words for how much I love this picture", "When I get to heaven this is the first thing I'm gonna see", "Love this pic. Moira and her Bebé at the fashion show" and "This makes my heart so very happy!!!"

Since the comedy series wrapped up for good back in 2020, Levy (who's one of the co-creators) has fielded endless questions about the future of the dysfunctional Rose family.

"I think when you have an audience that's paid attention to you for 80 episodes of a television show, the last thing you want is to put something out that makes them think this feels like a cash grab," he shared last summer. "And that's not what we're about."

Schitt's Creek is available to watch in its entirety on Netflix.
