Scholarship winners announced for 2022 Central Ohio High School Sports Awards on June 15

From almost 170 nominations, 23 student-athletes have been selected to receive scholarships at the 2022 Central Ohio High School Sports Awards on June 15 at the Ohio Theatre.

The show is presented by Encova Insurance and in partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital Sports Medicine and Raising Cane’s.

This year, Encova Insurance and the Sneed Family Foundation will award $63,000 in scholarships based on students’ accomplishments in the classroom, on the field of play and as leaders in their school and community.

Scholarship winners will be honored and the amount of all scholarships will be announced at the gala, which begins at 7 p.m.

In addition to the scholarship presentations, the top athletes in 30 sports will be among the honors revealed during the awards show, as well as the overall Girls Athlete of the Year, Boys Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year and Team of the Year.
