Scholarships presented at Marietta Charter Chapter ABWA meeting
Jun. 21—The Marietta Charter Chapter of American Business Women's Association recently met at the Marietta Conference Center and presented scholarships.
Trina Nkhazi, National ABWA President, and guest speaker Genice Hall, approved candidate for District 1 Vice President, attended. Hall presented an informative "From the Table Discussion on Bridging Generational Gaps." Many ABWA members from around metro Atlanta came to hear the presentation. A donation of $25 was made in her honor to the Marietta Charter scholarship fund.
Abby White and Abi Halls, who both attend Georgia Tech, received scholarships. Nkhazi also awarded ABWA membership for a year to both students.
The Marietta Charter Chapter has been serving Cobb County for over 50 years by awarding scholarships every year to deserving women and recognizing exceptional business leaders.
