School bus transporting seven students collides with passenger vehicle

A school bus carrying seven students collided with a passenger vehicle in Indiana County this morning.

Pennsylvania State Troopers said they responded to the accident in Rayne Township at around 8:27 a.m.

Authorities say a Mazda 6 sedan that was traveling east on Chamberville Road and a school bus traveling in the opposite direction collided on the road. The drivers were negotiating a curve in the roadway.

Two people in the sedan were transported to a hospital after suffering minor-to-moderate injuries. The driver of the sedan was reportedly unharmed. The driver of the school bus and the seven student passengers were also uninjured.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Police are still investigating.
