School news for March 2

Turkeyfoot school Pre-K4 and kindergarten registration

Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District will be holding Pre-K4 and kindergarten registration for the 2023-2024 school year March 23 and March 24, in the school LGI. Upon entering the district’s Pre-K4 Program, children must be 4 years of age by Sept. 1, and entering kindergarten, children must be 5 years of age by Sept. 1.

When calling to set up an appointment for March 23 and March 24, the person will be asked for a mailing address and telephone number so that the school can mail a registration packet. This packet will need to be filled out and returned to the school preferably before/at the time of the appointment. The school requires a copy of the child’s immunization record and birth certificate along with the other completed forms that will be found in the packet. Children will not be allowed to start school in the fall without all the proper forms submitted to the school district. It is the parents' responsibility to contact the school concerning the school-age child’s enrollment; the district will not be contacting the parents. To schedule a registration appointment for the child, call the school before March 23 and ask to speak with Shannon Meyers (ext. 251) at 814-395-3621.
