Schools look at reopening plans after Sacramento County moves to most restrictive COVID-19 tier

The Elk Grove Unified School District abandoned its plans for a return to in-person learning after Sacramento County was moved back to the most restrictive set of reopening guidelines following an increase of COVID-19 cases. The Folsom-Cordova Unified School District began transitioning elementary schools to the hybrid model on Nov. 9 when the county was still in the red tier. Officials said they will go ahead with their plan to transition about 4,900 elementary school students to the hybrid model on Nov. 12. Get the full story in the video above.
