Schraderbräu is here, just in time for the 'Breaking Bad' movie
Breaking Bad fans rejoice. Six years after the show’s finale, “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie” is officially out as Emmy-winner Aaron Paul reprises his role as the beleaguered Jesse Pinkman.
El Camino can be streamed on Netflix (NFLX) as of October 11, and is playing at select theaters nationwide. The highly-anticipated follow-up film was written and directed by Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad. It was produced by Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, Charles Newirth, Diane Mercer and Aaron Paul, in association with Sony Pictures Television (SNE).
While details about the movie are limited, the release coincides with the recent launch of Schraderbräu, the once-fictional brew of Walter White’s brother-in-law Hank Schrader, whose character was played by Dean Norris.
In a recent interview on The Final Round, Norris explained how the mythical home-brew went from an obscure plot point to reality.
“Somebody came to me early on and was talking about possibly doing a beer. And I thought, OK, and then it didn't kind of go anywhere. And then I thought, well, if someone's going to do it, I might as well do it myself. Because I mainly would be the person promoting it,” he said.
Norris said he then went to Sony, who and struck a deal for the licensing. “I found a great partner, and we timed it because we knew we had some things coming out,” he added, as he jokingly teased the film.
The beer is being brewed at Figueroa Mountain Brewing’s facilities in California.

Another big fan who is likely looking forward to the movie is Berkshire Hathaway (BRKA, BRKB) CEO Warren Buffett, whom Norris has met on several occasions. Buffett has only tweeted six times, and one them was an homage to Walter White before the show’s finale.
“He came to at least one of our premieres. I got a couple pictures with him. He is a very nice man. For being a multibillionaire, he was a very approachable and sweet guy.”
