Schuylkill County roadwork planned

Jan. 8—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Engineering District 5, Allentown, announced the following roadwork is planned for Schuylkill County:

—West Mahanoy, Mahanoy and Ryan townships, Route 54 between Gilberton and Barnesville — crack sealing by PennDOT crews beginning Monday and continue through Friday between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Lane closures will be in place with flagging.

—Blythe, New Castle and Butler townships between Saint Clair and Ashland — pothole patching by PennDOT crews beginning Monday and continue through Friday between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Lane closures will be in place with flagging.

—Wayne Twp., Panther Valley Road between Paradise Road and Beckville Road — brush cutting by PennDOT crews beginning Monday and continue through Friday between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Lane closures will be in place.

—Cass Twp., Forest Lane Road between Route 209 and Route 901 — brush cutting by PennDOT crews beginning Monday and continue through Friday between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Lane closures will be in place.
