Scioto Valley Conference releases all-conference girls basketball teams and awards

The Scioto Valley Conference released its selections for the its all-conference girls basketball team on Wednesday.

Unioto's Jeff Miller was selected as the SVC's Coach of the Year. Miller, in his 12th season commanding the Shermans, led his team to a 14-0 record in conference play and a perfect 22-0 regular season record.

Adena's Emma Garrison was named Player of the Year after averaging a conference-leading 16.7 points per game and guiding the Warriors to a 17-5 record. Garrison also averaged 6.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 46 percent from the field.
