Scituate’s antique fire truck restored with the help of local students

Scituate’s nearly 100-year-old firetruck is looking ready to fight some flames yet again.

Students at South Shore Regional Technical High School “worked tirelessly” help to restore the town’s 1924 Fire Pumper Truck.

The vehicle was the second motorized fire truck purchased by the town.

The students were able to restore the truck after four former officials purchased the truck to restore it.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
