We typically see many sales on TVs leading up to the Super Bowl. So despite not being able to safely hold parties this year, you can at least watch the game on a new screen if you’re looking to upgrade. Even if you aren’t planning on watching, this is one of the best times of the year to spring for a better smart TV from the likes of Samsung, LG, and Sony. (With free two-day shipping from Amazon, it’s still possible to have one delivered to your doorstep and set up before kick off.)

If you do decide to buy a TV, consider the latest LCD technology. Keep in mind that Samsung’s QLED and LG’s OLED screens are slightly different; QLED uses a quantum-dot filter between the LED light and LCD screen to improve color, while OLED—or organic light-emitting diodes—TVs have pixels that emit their own light instead of using an LCD screen. While OLED is generally better in image and pixel quality, both types of TVs represent the brands’ finest performance.

Samsung’s QLED TVs already typically cost slightly less than an OLED model, and now thanks to Amazon’s deals, you can get a 55-inch model for well under $1,000. LG’s OLED TVs are similarly up to $500 off or more, or you can opt for 4K UHD models for under $1,000. In addition to premium OLED/QLED options from Samsung, LG, and Sony, there is also a variety of deals on cheaper models from more affordable brands like TCL and Vizio. Shop all of the options below to find the best TV for your budget.
