Louisville football head coach Scott Satterfield's father, Fredric Satterfield, died Saturday afternoon.
Satterfield, a North Carolina native, found out about his father's death before the Cardinals' game against Kentucky on Saturday night.

He did not comment on the death of his father after the game, but the football Twitter account posted condolences for the family.
"Thoughts and prayers with Coach Satt and the entire family following the passing of his father," the team account tweeted.
