Scrambling for Easter eggs

PETOSKEY — On Saturday, local kids collected around 4,000 eggs placed around the Emmet County Fairgrounds by Emmet County Parks and Recreation staff for the Easter weekend Egg Scramble.

This is the second year the scramble has taken place since being shut down due to COVID-19.

The fairgrounds were broken up into zones by age group; zero to five, six to nine and 10 to 13. Parks and recreation staff also prepared about 400 candy bags to hand out in case there were kids that weren’t able to get eggs.
