Erin Swift is like Buddy the Elf in real life; if Buddy had a design eye and incorporated nordic-inspired trinkets while using over 2,000 lights and 500 ornaments to decorate 10-foot trees. Swift, founder of Holiday Workroom, will show up to your house with a real tree and colorful ornaments in hand, ready to transform any space into a winter wonderland. The clever New York-based service is a lot like Seamless for holiday decor-instead of ordering a pizza online, it's a Christmas tree.

With over 15 years of experience in the design industry, Swift opened Holiday Workroom in 2017, her goal being to "give clients the joy of being able to focus on family and friends during the holiday season, rather than the hassle of decorating," she explains.

To sign up for the service, customers go the site and fill out an order form. The "menu" is filled with options for any taste, be it Scandinavian modern or New England classic. If a client has their own aesthetic, Swift and her team will design them their a unique masterpiece. Pricing starts at $1,000, and goes up depending on the size of the tree and design style. And for the most part, they don't need to see your space beforehand. "With today's technology, FaceTime allows us to do full walkthroughs without physically entering the space," says Swift.

Once Swift arrives to your house, it can take two to six hours from start to finish, which she prides herself on. Though the actual installation is fairly quick for clients, Swift says it takes days, sometimes weeks, to prep.

And since what goes up must come down, Swift and her team handle that as well. "Included in our service is tree removal. We typically take everything away with us, but clients have the option to keep their ornaments for a small storage material fee if they prefer," she says. It would be like Seamless not just delivering your dinner, but offering to clean up the mess, too. Sign me up.
