Search continues for missing hiker near Mount Wilson

Search and rescue crews are continuing to look for a missing hiker last seen near Mount Wilson more than three weeks ago.

According to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department missing person bulletin, Zachary James Crehan’s last known location was near a hiking trail on Mount Wilson on Jan. 5 at 4:49 p.m.

Zachary is described by authorities as a 35-year-old white man with brown hair and blue eyes who stands 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.

There is concern for his well-being, LASD said.

The Montrose Search and Rescue Team is among those leading the search efforts and advises anyone hiking near Mount Lowe and Mount Wilson to look out for Zachary.
