Since launching his mayoral campaign, former Chicago Public Schools CEO Paul Vallas has raised approximately $19.5 million in contributions to his committee, Vallas for Mayor, and more than $13 million of that has been contributed since he made the mayoral runoff on Feb. 28, according to a Tribune analysis of campaign finance records.

Vallas has amassed millions with the help of big-name contributors such as Craig Duchossois, executive at The Duchossois Group, who contributed $750,000 to Vallas in March, Gerald Beeson, the chief operating officer of the former Chicago investment firm Citadel, who has contributed $300,000 since November, and Michael Keiser, owner of Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, who has contributed $900,000 since Vallas launched his campaign.
