Search For Coronavirus Cases By ZIP Code: Bethesda
BETHESDA, MD — The Maryland Department of Health has put together an interactive map to help residents stay up to date on coronavirus cases in their neighborhoods.
The map, which users can access by clicking the "Cases by ZIP Code" tab, identifies the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in each area. The numbers are updated every day around 10 a.m.
As of Monday morning, there are 13,684 confirmed cases and 516 deaths in Maryland. An additional 66 people may have died from COVID-19, but a laboratory test is still needed to confirm the cause of death, state health officials said.
Based on the latest figures, Montgomery County has confirmed 2,647 cases of the new coronavirus and 89 fatalities. Seventeen other people have COVID-19 listed on their death certificate. Again, the state is waiting on a laboratory to confirm it.
Residents in 22 Montgomery County ZIP codes have tested positive for the virus, according to officials. Of those ZIP codes, three are in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area.
