A major search is underway for a missing 15-year-old boy off the coast of Fernandina Beach.
Fernandina Beach Fire Chief Ty Silcox said the search is happening near North Beach Park.
Ocean Rescue, the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Coast Guard are assisting in the search.
The teen, an adult, and another teen, who are all from Georgia, were seen struggling in the surf. The adult and other teen were rescued and taken to the hospital.
