You season 2 trailer is here and Joe is up to his old tricks

From Digital Spy

We have the first teaser trailer for Netflix's You season 2, and Joe Goldberg hasn't changed one bit.

Dropping on the streaming service on December 26, the sophomore entry in this psychological thriller series promises to be even darker than the first go-around.

In the trailer, Joe reflects: "Love has taken me to some pretty dark places, but Los Angeles has got to be as dark as it gets".

Stood queuing in what we assume is a coffee shop, Penn Badgley's creeper can be found dismantling everyone around him via voiceover, from the social tactics of a selfie to his thoughts on misguided screenplay writers.

After discussing the false nature of the US state, he goes on to tell an employee that his name is Will - the irony is not lost on his face either.

Elsewhere, You showrunner Sera Gamble previously admitted that season 2 will be "gorier and scarier" than the debut season.

"Joe is always trying to be a good guy but yet somehow he's finding himself in these thriller, horror kind of situations. It's terrible for him but I think it's going to be so much fun for the audience," she explained.

You season 2 lands on Netflix later this month.
