‘Blue Thunder is the heartbeat of the fans’: Seahawks looking for people to join drumline

The Seattle Seahawks are looking for high-energy people to perform in the Blue Thunder Drumline, said the Seahawks.

Auditions for 2023 are currently open.

“Not your typical drumline, Blue Thunder uses a variety of rhythms and visuals, incorporating rock and roll drumming alongside drum corps style, endearing them to Seahawks fans of all ages. Blue Thunder is also available for parades, parties, and corporate event appearances,” said the Seahawks.

The entertaining drumline was established at Lumen Field in 2004 and performed throughout the stadium before, during, and after games.

“Seahawks Blue Thunder is the heartbeat of the fans,” said the Seahawks.

The drumline has also featured celebrity guest drummers at rehearsal, game days, and occasional joint performances on stage. Chad Smith from the ‘Red Hot Chili Peppers’, Matt Cameron from ‘Pearl Jam’, and Mike Derosier from ‘Heart’ have all been guests.

There are three rules to apply for ‘Blue Thunder’ auditions. The person must be over 19, have graduated high school, and know how to read music notation.
