SeaWorld Orlando is expanding its drive-in movies concept to Halloween fare beginning Saturday. The evenings are being programmed with a family-friendly film early, followed by a more fear-inducing one as the nightcap. — The theme park is calling the event Flicks & Frights.
This is a separately ticketed event from regular park admission; reservations are needed for a day at the theme park as well as for the drive-in event. However, visitors do not have to go to the theme park in order to attend Flicks & Frights.
A carload of visitors can participate in Flicks & Frights for $40 per vehicle. The price includes a reserved guest parking spot in the lot with access to food trucks.
A face covering is required whenever outside a vehicle at the event.
Other fine print: The number of guests in vehicle cannot be greater than number of seats with seat belts in the vehicle, SeaWorld says. Vehicles must fit in one standard parking spot, and oversize vehicles are permitted.
Nightly showtimes are 7:45 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The schedule thus far is:
1/4 u00b7 Sept. 19: “Hotel Transylvania” and “It"
