Sebring parade welcomes Christmas season
A large crowd lined 15th Street in Sebring Village on Saturday night for an annual parade as they celebrated the town’s Christmas Festival. The nighttime parade featured lighted floats and many decorated tractors, along with the blasts of horns from first-responder vehicles from the Sebring area. Those on hand for the celebration had many opportunities for fun before and after the parade, too. A live nativity scene, caroling and a hot chocolate station were available outdoors, while the Strand Theater played host to a Christmas movie. After the parade, guests headed to Gednetz-Ruzek & Brown Funeral Home in Sebring, where its annual Winter Wonderland Party offered free pictures with Santa, holiday treats and a massive Christmas village display. The celebration is an annual event in Sebring, and organizers have announced they’re already planning for next year’s event, on Dec. 7, 2024.
