SEC Nation heading to Florida-Georgia next week
The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party Florida-Georgia football game is one of the nation’s biggest college football rivalries. More often than not, the winner of this game also wins the SEC East, making the annual matchup in Jacksonville a high-stakes bout.
This year’s contest may not feature those same stakes, as the Gators have three conference losses and have essentially been eliminated from contention in the division regardless of what happens in this game. Still, it’s a rivalry game between the two preeminent programs in the division, and it’s not surprising that it’s the game the SEC Network will showcase next week for its SEC Nation pregame show.
SEC Nation, which is hosted by UF alumni Tim Tebow and Laura Rutledge, as well as Roman Harper, Jordan Rodgers and Paul Finebaum, begins at 10 a.m. EDT. The game will also host Marty & McGee at 9 a.m. EDT and The Paul Finebaum Show on Friday from 3-7 p.m. EDT. All three shows will air from Lot P at TIAA Bank Field.
This is the second time SEC Nation has covered a Florida game this season. The crew was also in Gainesville for the matchup with Alabama in Week 3.
