SEC Network's Paul Finebaum prediction for Alabama vs. Auburn football in 2021 Iron Bowl

On Sunday's episode of "The ESPN College Football Podcast," host Matt Barrie asked Paul Finebaum to look ahead to the week's upcoming college football games and make predictions.

One of the games Barrie asked Finebaum to forecast was Auburn vs. Alabama football in the Iron Bowl, which is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday.

Alabama, ranked No. 2 in the USA Today Sports AFCA Coaches Poll, enters the game 10-1 overall and 6-1 in the SEC. Most recently, Alabama beat Arkansas 42-35 on Nov. 20.

Auburn comes into the matchup 6-5 overall and 3-4 in the SEC. On Nov. 20, South Carolina defeated Auburn 21-17.

Paul Finebaum picked Alabama.

Barrie asked Finebaum to construct a headline for after the Iron Bowl.

"Tide starts slow but rolls over hapless Auburn as it heads for showdown against the Dogs," Finebaum said.

Alabama has already clinched a spot in the SEC Championship game against the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, Dec. 4.
