The February signing period won't terribly be active.

Only four of the top 100 prospects in the 2022 class have not signed or committed with a school, according to 247Sports Composite. And with schools saving up scholarships for transfer portal additions, high school recruiting has been temporarily put on the backburner.

But that doesn't mean there aren't any big names still available. Here are five Class of 2022 recruits SEC schools could still sign ahead of February's national signing day.

Shemar Stewart

Stewart is the top recruit in Florida and the No. 9 prospect in the nation. The five-star defensive lineman is choosing between Georgia, Texas A&M and Miami.

Devon Campbell

Campbell is a five-star offensive lineman and the No. 1 offensive tackle in the country. Texas and Oklahoma, soon to be SEC schools, are the only two contenders for his signature.

Jacoby Mathews

Mathews, a five-star safety, has a handful of SEC schools vying for his signature. LSU, Texas

A&M and Florida are all in the hunt for the Louisiana native and No. 4 safety in the country.

Christen Miller

Georgia is one of five contenders for Miller, who is the No. 19 defensive lineman in the nation. Florida A&M, Miami, Ohio State and Oregon are also on his shortlist.

TreVonte' Citizen

Citizen is the top unsigned running back in the country. He was committed to LSU but decommitted after Ed Orgeron left the program. Now Citizen has LSU, Auburn, Florida, Miami, Michigan State, Nebraska, Southern Cal and Grambling State as his top eight schools.
