Chipotle is opening a second location in Sioux Falls, according to city building permits.

A building permit was applied for the second location Thursday at Foss Avenue and Arrowhead Parkway. The store is planned to be about 2,325 square feet.

The building will be located at 5300 E. Arrowhead Parkway.

The first Sioux Falls Chipotle opened a year ago to popular demand in the Empire Place development at the Empire Mall.

The fast-casual chain features Tex-Mex options. Some of the most popular items on the menu include burritos and burrito bowls. Tacos, nachos and more are included on the menu.
