A second COVID-19 testing site is opening in Manatee County. What you need to know

A second COVID-19 testing site will open on Wednesday in downtown Bradenton, Manatee County Government said Tuesday afternoon.

The new location will open in the SUNZ insurance parking lot 1301 Eighth Avenue from 7 a.m to 7 p.m. seven days a week.

In order to get tested, all visitors must show proof of Florida residency. Acceptable documents can be a state-issued driver’s license or utility bill with a Florida address.

This will be the second free COVID-19 testing site in the area as a partnership between the Florida Department of Health in Manatee County and the Manatee County Government.

COVID-19 testing will also continue at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, 1 Haben Boulevard in Palmetto.

Both locations will be opened seven days a week.
