Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff to attend political events in North Carolina

Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff will be attending political events in North Carolina Monday afternoon.

Emhoff, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, said he will be joining Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison for events in Kannapolis, as well as Charlotte.

The event in Charlotte is expected to begin at 1 p.m. It will be held on the 5800 block of East W.T. Harris Boulevard.

In July, Harris visited Charlotte to talk about abortion rights and the Biden administration’s efforts to broaden internet access. She toured a computer lab at the Carole Hoefener Center in uptown.
