Second suspect in Cobra Bar murders sentenced to life without parole

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The second suspect involved in the 2018 double murder outside the Cobra Bar in East Nashville has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for both deaths.

Demontrey Logsdon was found guilty on all counts and was sentenced Monday, Feb. 12. He will be sentenced for other charges on Friday, April 19.

Loved ones of the victims, Jamie Sarrantonio and Brandon Teal, gave emotional testimony at Logsdon’s sentencing.

In June 2023, Horace Williamson III, the other suspect involved in the murders, was also sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Logsdon and Williamson were convicted of killing Sarrantonio, 30, and Teal, 33, after robbing them and two of their friends at gunpoint outside the Cobra Bar during the early morning hours of Aug. 17, 2018.
