Secret Cinema postpones Dirty Dancing dates to 2022

Secret Cinema has confirmed that it has postponed its Dirty Dancing experience dates until summer 2022.
The immersive cinema specialists were due to take audiences to the Kellerman's Resort in July this year, but they have now rescheduled the event until July 2022 due to concerns over COVID-19 restrictions.
It will now open next year on July 13 and run until July 31. Anyone who has tickets for the original 2021 dates will be transferred to an equivalent rescheduled show, a list of which you can find on the Secret Cinema website.
Alternatively, you request an alternative date, subject to availability, if you are unable to make your rescheduled date or request a full refund, which the organisers are asking be submitted before June 4, 2021
Tickets for the new dates will be available on the Secret Cinema website from May 21, 2021.
The organisers said in a statement: "It is with a heavy heart that due to the ongoing uncertainty around the hosting of mass gatherings, and the lack of COVID-19 cancellation insurance, we are forced to postpone Secret Cinema Presents Dirty Dancing to next summer.
"We are so sorry to postpone the opening of Kellerman's Resort once again - but trust us, it will be worth the wait. We are incredibly grateful for your loyalty and very much hope to see you at Dirty Dancing next year."
The event will take place in a secret outdoor London location and will feature live music, dance classes and other activities, with the audience transported to Kellerman's Resort as locations and destinations from the movie will be brought to life.
"Our outdoor experiences are a celebration of the summer, and this iconic movie epitomises and honours that perfectly. We're delighted to return to this film and can't wait to share the summer of '63 with you," Lucy Ridley, creative director of Secret Cinema Presents Dirty Dancing, previously said.
Attendees can expect live music, dance classics and all of the outdoor activities that would have been seen at Kellerman's Resort, so you better start practising your lifts for your big moment.
Last year, Secret Cinema tackled its first-ever James Bond movie with Casino Royale that saw them "creating the prequel" to Daniel Craig's 007 debut.
