To report Section 3 boys swimming scores and highlights: Coaches or team representatives are asked to send Section 3 boys swimming scores and highlights (including first and last names of athletes) as soon as possible after games by emailing sports@uticaod.com. Please include a name and contact number.

The results for the 2021-22 winter season will be listed below by date.

Section III Class A Championships

Top local team scores: 4. Rome Free Academy 228; 8. Proctor 141.

RFA's Dominick Gratch finished second in the 50 freestyle (21.96) and the 100 freestyle (48.43). Gratch was joined by Joseph Keeney, Jack Anderegg and Tanner Brawdy on the fourth place 400 freestyle relay team (3:25.34).

Proctor's relay team broke two school records. Arman Tresnjo finished fourth in the 100 backstroke (59.64). Their 200 relay team of Tresnjo, Marius Balanean, Donovan Eady and Garrett Nanna finished in fourth (1:33.96)

Section III Class B Championships

Top local team scores: 1. New Hartford 424; 7. Oneida 157; 10. (tie) Vernon-Verona-Sherrill 33.

New Hartford's Mateo Ripa finished second in the 200 freestyle (1:49.62) and third in the 100 freestyle (49.38). Teammate Hassan Moussad finished third in the 200 individual medley (2:03.58) and second in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.16). Patrick Scott finished third in diving (458.05). Troy Luley finished second in the 500 freestyle (5:06.27). Ripa and Mousad were joined by Matt French and Karim Mosaad on the second place 200 freestyle relay team (1:32.20) and winning 400 freestyle relay (3:24.73).

Oneida's Andrew Hicks finished first in the 50 freestyle (21.88) and second in the 100 freestyle (48.53). Hicks was joined by Paris Hoang, Preston Hoang and Ethan Schmitt in the 200 medley relay (1:50.74).

VVS' Roman Krupski finished third in the 100 backstroke (58-14) and fourth in the 200 individual medley (2:07.60).

Section III Class C Championships

Top local team scores: 3. Cooperstown 282.5; 4. Holland Patent 221; 7. Sherburne-Earlville (145.5).

Cooperstown's Thomas Hellenthal finished first in the 500 freestyle (5:22.25) and the 100 backstroke (59.58). He was joined by Simon Hurysz, Paul Crowell and Theo Ignatovsky on the third place 200 freestyle relay team (1:44.12).

Jaycob Jones of Holland Patent finished second in diving (339.50). Teammate Dariusz Sargent finished fourth in the 100 backstroke (1:10.11).

Sherburne-Earlville's Amon Van Alst finished second in the 200 individual medley (2:13.55) and 500 freestyle (5:23.52). Van Alst was joined by Emma Crespi, Josh Larchar and Declan Wilson on the second place freestyle relay team (1:43.99).

Section 3 boys swimming scores for Monday, Jan. 24

Oneida 49, Cooperstown 49

O (6-3-1): Team won six events. Jack Caposto finished first in the 200 freestyle (2:14.64), 100 butterfly (1:10.29) and swam a leg on the winning 400 freestyle relay team (3:48.42) with Grady Gaudet, Ethan Schmitt and Andrew Hicks. Hicks also finished first in 100 freestyle )51.60) and 50 freestyle (23.03).

C (4-5-1): Won five events. Thomas Hellenthal finished first in the 200 individual medley (2:18.69), 500 freestyle (5:32.93) and swam a leg on the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:47.03) with Simon Hurysz, Theo Ignatovsky and Paul Crowell,

Lowville Academy 57, Holland Patent 43

LA (9-3): Won seven events. Andre Meleschuk finished fist in the 200 freestyle (2:02.92), 100 butterfly (1:03.25) and swam a leg on the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:45.69) with Cody Kempney, Samuel Gillette and Zane Metzler.

HP (2-8): Won four events. Darius Sargent placed first in the 200 individual medley (2:32.47) and swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay team (2:06.41) with William Stockhauser, Everet Race and Joseph Erny.

Section 3 boys swimming scores for Tuesday, Jan. 18

Rome Free Academy 63, Oneida 38

O: Andrew Hicks was first in the 50 freestyle (23.16) and also swam a leg of the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:43.58 with Jack Capotosto, Hoang and Ethan Schmitt).

R (10-0): Team finished with seven total wins; Jack Anderegg was first in the 200 individual medley (2:21.84) and the 100 breaststroke (1:14.54) while also swimming a leg of the winning 400 freestyle (3:54.34 with Tanner Brawdy, Joseph Keeney and Dominick Gratch; Noah Artigiani won the diving event (157.75).

Note: RFA is the CSC League Champions. The league championship diving

meet takes place this Friday at Holland Patent.

Section 3 boys swimming scores for Thursday, Jan. 13

Rome Free Academy 59, Cooperstown 39

RFA (9-0): Team had 8 total first-place finishes; Dominick Gratch was first in the 50 freestyle (23.24) and 100 breaststroke (1:08.25) and swam a leg of the winning 200 medley relay (1:52.28 with Cody Madonia, Joseph Keeney and Tanner Brawdy); Jack Anderegg was first in the 200 individual medley (2:2:22.43) and 100 butterfly (1:09.31).

C (3-5): Thomas Hellenthal was first in the 200 freestyle (2:04.30) and 500 freestyle (5:35.74) and a swam leg of the first-place 200 freestyle relay (1:46.20 with Paul Crowell, Theo Ignatovsky, Simon Hurysz) and 400 freestyle relay (4:12.76 with London Kinley, Ignatovsky and Crowell)

Proctor 94, Oneida 86

P (7-3): Team had 4 first-place finishes; Arman Tresnjo finished first in three events including the 200 freestyle (2:01.28), 100 breaststroke (1:11.88) and 400 freestyle relay team with Marius Balanean, Donovan Eady and Garret Nana (3:50.24); Nana finished first in the 100 butterfly (1:10.47).

O (5-2): Team had 5 first-place finishes; Andrew Hicks finished first in the 50 freestyle (23.41; Paris Hoang finished first in the 100 backstroke (1:11.22); Preston Hoang finished first in the 200 individual medley (2:27.20); Ethan Schmitt finished first in the 500 freestyle (5:52.56); Hoang, Hoang, Hicks and Schmitt finished first in the 200 medley relay (1:54.43).

Section 3 boys swimming scores for Tuesday, Jan. 11

Proctor 53, Sherburne-Earlville 33

P: Team had seven first place finishes; Donovan Eady finished first in the 50 freestyle (25.15) and 100 freestyle (57.45); Garret Nanna finished first in the 100 backstroke (1:11.37).

S-E: Amon Van Alst finished first in the 100 breatstroke (1:11.70) and was a member of the winning 200 freestyle (1:47.54) and 200 medley (2:04.38) relay teams with Josh Larchar, Declan Wilson and Emma Crsespi.

RFA 81, Holland Patent 21

RFA: Team won all 12 events; Tanner Brawdy finished first in the 500 freestyle (5:41.98) and 200 freestyle; Dominic Gratch finished first in the 50 freestyle; Gratch and Brawdy were part of the winning 400 freestyle relay team (3:58.85) with Jack Wood and Jack Anderegg.

HP: Darius Sargent finished second in the 200 individual medley and swam a leg on the second-place 200 medley relay team (2:09.21) with William Stockhauser, Everet Race and Joseph Erny.

Jamesville DeWitt-CBA 95, New Hartford 88

JD-CBA: Won four events; Misha Kabunov finished first in the 500 freestyle (5:02.47) and 200 freestyle (1:53.47); Nathaniel Wales finished first in the 100 freestyle (51.33) and 100 backstroke (58.65).

NH: Won five events; Hassan Mousad finished first in the 100 butterfly (59.22); Mousad also swam a leg on the winning 200 freestyle relay team (Mateo Ripa, Matt French and Karim Mosaad; 1:35.59) and the winning 400 freestyle relay team (Brady DelMedico, Joey Papandrea and Alex Bailey; 3:42.86).

Section 3 boys swimming scores for Friday, Jan. 7

Cooperstown 98, Holland Patent 73

C: Team won nine events; Thomas Hellenthal finished first in the 100 butterfly (1:07.02); Paul Crowell finished first in the 50 freestyle (26.72); Theo Ignatovsky finished first in the 1:02.24). Hellenthal and Crowell were joined by Finn Morgan and Macon Aramini on the winning 200 medley relay team (2:07.71).

HP: Team won three events; Jacob Jones finished first in diving (206.10) and Dariusz Sargent finished first in the 200 individual medley (2:33.77) and 100 backstroke (1:13.36).

Section 3 boys swimming scores for Thursday, Jan. 6

Proctor 99, Cooperstown 74

P: Team finished with seven total first-place finishes and never trailed; Arman Tresnjo was first in the 200 freestyle (2:05.06) and the 100 breaststroke (1:12.10) and swam a leg of the winning 200 medley relay (2:03.27) with Matthew Simmons, Garrett Nanna and Aubrey Campbell; Earl Lang won the diving event (148.55); Nanna, Donovan Eady, Marius Balanean and Zachary Gioppo were first in the 400 freestyle (3:59.70).

C: Thomas Hellenthal was first in the 100 butterfly (1:03.56) and the 500 freestyle (5:47.06) and was part of the winning of the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:46.70) with London Kinley, Theo Ignatovsky and Simon Hurysz; Finn Morgan was first in the 100 backstroke (1:11.77).

Mexico Academy 101, New Hartford 84

MA: Team won nine events and neve trailed in the overall score.

NH: Mateo Ripa won the 100 freestyle (51.58) and Hassan Mousad took the top spot the 100 breaststroke (1:04.33) and both swam legs of the winning 400 freestyle event (3:43.2) with Ryan Harrington and Matt French; Team finished with 8 second-place finishes.

Rome Free Academy 70, Sherburne-Earlville 27

RFA (7-0): Sean Feeney finished first in the 100 butterfly (1:07.09) and 200 freestyle (2:12.84). Jack Anderegg a first place finish in the 50 freestyle (25.01). The Black Knights' 400 freestyle relay team (Anderegg, Dominick Gratch, Jack Wood and Tanner Brawdy; 3:57.27) and 200 freestyle relay team (Wood, Anderegg, Noah Artigiani and Dennis van Hoesel; 1:55.80) each finished in first. RFA finished with 9 first-place finishes.

S-E(0-7): Team finished with 2 first-place finishes including 2 from Amon Van Alst. Van Alst finished first in the 50 freestyle (25.12) and swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay team (2:02.63) with Declan Wilson, Josh Larchar and Emma Crespi.

Section 3 boys swimming scores for Tuesday, Jan. 4

Proctor 98, Holland Patent 77

P (4-3): Team totaled 10 wins; Garret Nanna was first in the 50 freestyle (24.91) and 100 butterfly (1:13.52) and Arman Tresnjo was first in the 200 individual medley (2:18.85) and the 100 breaststroke (1:13.00) and both swam legs of the winning 200 freestyle team with Donovan Eady and Andre Solete (1:45.70); Donovan Eady won the 100 freestyle in 59.13 and was the lone participant under a minute.

HP: Team had 6 2nd place finishes; Jacob Jones won the diving event with 230.25 points; The 400 freestyle relay team of William Stockhauser, Christian Kennedy, Jake Smith and Dariusz Sargent had a first-place finish in 4:49.16.

Cooperstown 85, Sherburne-Earlville 72

C: Thomas Hellenthal finished first in the 200 freestyle (2:03.65) and 500 freestyle (5:36.14). He was also on the winning 400 freestyle relay team (4:31.60) with London Kinley, Theo Ignatovsky and Ben Agostino.

S-E: Josh Larchar finished first in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.85). He also swam a leg on the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:46.99) with Emma Crespi, Declan Wilson and Amon Van Alst. Larchar, Wilson, Crespi and Van Alst also finished first in the 200 medley relay (2:05.36).

Rome Free Academy 100, Oneida 66

RFA: Jack Anderegg finished first in the 200 individual medley (2:22.82) and 100 backstroke (1:09.95). Anderegg was joined by Dominic Gratch, Joseph Keeney and Tanner Brawdy on the winning 200 medley (1:51.85) and 400 freestyle relay (3:43.18) teams.

O: Preston Hoang finished first in the 100 breaststroke (1:15.32). Andrew Hicks finished first in the 200 freestyle (1:58.26) and 100 freestyle (50.85). Hicks also swam a leg on the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:44.76) with Jack Caposto, Grady Gaudet and Ethan Schmitt.

Section 3 boys swimming scores from Tuesday, Dec. 21

Cooperstown 68, Holland Patent 34

C (1-3): Thomas Hellenthal finished the evening with five first place finishes. Individually, Hellenthal earned the top spot in the 200 freestyle (2:29.80) and 200 individual medley (2:29.80). He also swam a leg on three winning relay teams - 200 medley (2:08.01; with Finn Morgan, Simon Hurysz and Theo Ignatovsky), 200 freestyle (1:48.11; with Hurysz, Ignatonsky and Paul Crowell) and 400 freestyle (4:16.95; with London Kinley, Ignatonsky and Crowell).

HP (1-4): Team placed first in two events including diving (David Jones, 182.10) and the 100 breaststroke (Dariusz Sargent. 1:13.55).

Rome Free Academy 101, Proctor 75

RFA (5-0): Dominick Gratch finished first in the 200 individual medley (2:19.51) and 100 freestyle (53.35). He also swam a leg on the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:40.55) with Joseph Keeney, Tanner Brawdy and Jack Wood.

P (3-3): Matthew Simmons finished first in the 100 breaststroke (1:16.09) and Arman Tresnjo finished first in the 100 freestyle (2:01.92)

New Hartford 94, Syracuse City 73

NH: Hassan Moussad and Mateo Ripa had four first place finishes for the Spartans. Individually, Moussad finished first in the 200 individual medley (2:05.15) and 100 breaststroke (1:02.69). Ripa finished first in the 50 freestyle (23.77) and 100 backstroke (1:01.19). Moussad and Ripa also swam on the winning 200 medley relay team (1:48.05) with Matt French and Alex Bailey and were part of the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:36.74) with Karim Mosaad and Brady DelMedico.

Section 3 boys swimming scores from Monday, Dec. 20

Oneida 88, Sherburne-Earlville 51

O (5-0): Team had eight first-place finishes, including Andrew Hicks who won the 50 freestyle (23.02) and 100 freestyle (52.79) and Ethan Schmitt who won the 200 individual medley (2:32.11) and 500 freestyle (5:30.09). Both were also part of the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:53.59).

SE (0-5): Amon Van Alst was first in the 100 butterfly (1:04.33) and 100 breaststroke (1:11.53) and was part of the winning 400 freestyle relay team (4:14.51).

Section 3 boys swimming scores from Thursday, Dec. 16

Proctor 87, Sherburne-Earlville 51

SE (0-4): 1. Josh Larchar (100 freestyle, 1:04.22), Amon Van Alst (500 Freestyle, 5:33.60) and Madison DeAngelis (100 Backstroke, 1:34.01) each had first-place finishes.

P (2-2): Team earned seven total wins; Donovan Eady (200 Freestyle, 2:20.08) Arman Tresnjo (200 Individual Medley, 2:19.02), Garret Nanna (50 Freestyle, 25.14), Earl Lang (Diving, 160.05) and Marius Balanean (100 Butterfly, 1:10.83) each had consecutive wins to build a lead.

Rome Free Academy 63, Holland Patent 36

RFA: Tanner Brawdy Dominick Gratch starred for the Black Knights. Brawdy finished first in the 200 individual medley (2:26.04). Gratch finished first in the 50 freestyle (23.53) and 100 freestyle (52.65). Brawdy and Gratch were joined by Joseph Keeney and Jack Wood on the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:40.31).

HP: William Stockhauser finished first in the 100 backstroke (1:16.18) and swam a leg on the first place 400 freestyle relay team (5:01.38) with Christian Kennedy, Jake Smith and Wyatt Boris.

Oneida 91, Cooperstown 72

C: Lincoln Dilorenzo won the diving (171.55) and Thomas Hellenthal was first in the 100 butterfly (1:05.23). Team finished with eight second-place finishes.

O: Team finished with nine first-place finishes; Andrew Hicks was first in the 200 freestyle (1:55.51) and 100 freestyle (51.29) and Ethan Schmitt also earned victories in the 200 IM (2:22.73) and 500 freestyle (5:37.86). They were also part of the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:44.43) with Grady Gaudet and Jack Capotosto.

Rome Free Academy 65, Proctor 37

Proctor (2-2): Arman Tresnjo was first in the 100 backstroke in 1:05.83 and Garrett Nanna took stop spot in the 50 freestyle (24.96); The 400 Freestyle Relay (Eady, Tresnjo, Nanna, Balanean) was also first in 3:57.61.

Rome Free Academy (3-0): Team had seven first-place finishes, including two from Jack Anderegg in the 200 Freestyle (2:06.74) and 100 Freestyle (57.11). Dominick Gratch also had first place finishes in the 200 individual medley (2:20.32) and 100 breaststroke (1:09.09). He was also part of the winning 200 Medley Rel (Madonia, Gratch, Keeney, Wood, 1:55.94).

New Hartford 98, Fulton 85

NH: Team had nine victories, including the 200 Medley Relay (Matt French, Richard Chen, Karim Mosaad, Brady DelMedico, 1:53.12), the 200 Free Relay (Mateo Ripa, Hassan Mousad, Karim Mosaad, Brady DelMedico 1:37.94) and 400 Free Relay (Ripa, Troy Luley, French, Mousad, 3:42.31); Hassan Mousad also earned victories in the 200 IM (2:08.48) and 100 breaststroke (1:04.77).

F: Bryce Rogers won the 200 freestyle (1:53.28) and 500 freestyle (5:19.46).

Section 3 boys swimming scores for Monday, Dec. 13

Oneida 89, Holland Patent 72

O: Preston Hoang (2:29.77) and Peyton Hoang ( 3:01.61) finished first and second in the 200 individual medley. Andrew Hicks finished first in the 50 freestyle (:22.80) and the 100 freestyle (:50.51). Ethan Schmitt finished first in the 100 butterfly (:59.86) and 500 freestyle (5:47.71). Hicks, Schmitt Preston Hoang and Paris Hoang finished first in the 200 medley relay (1:53.91).

HP: William Stockhauser finished first in the 100 backstroke (1:17.37) and swam a leg on the winning 400 freestyle relay team (4:54.61) with Wyatt Boris, Everet Race and Jake Smith. Race also finished first in the 100 breaststroke (1:23.94).

Section 3 boys swimming scores for Thursday, Dec. 9

Rome Free Academy 114, Cooperstown 63

RFA: Jack Wood led RFA with four first place finishes. Wood finished first in the 50 freestyle (25.86), 100 freestyle (1:00.76) and was on the winning 200 medley relay team (1:55.32) with Jack Anderegg, Dominick Gratch and Joseph Keeney. Wood, Anderegg, Keeney and Tanner Brawdy won the 200 freestyle relay (1:42.92).

C:Thomas Hellenthal had two first place finishes for the Hawkeyes. He finished first in the 500 freestyle (5:31.16) and 100 backstroke (1:06.79).

Section 3 boys swimming scores for Tuesday, Dec. 7

Rome Free Academy 62, Sherburne-Earlville 27

RFA: Jack Aderegg helped lead the Black the Knights with three first place finishes. He finished first in the 100 backstroke (1:11.77) and swam a leg on the winning 200 freestyle relay team (1:41.20) with Dominick Gratch, Jack Wood and Tanner Brawdy. Anderegg, Gratch and Brawdy were also part of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:53.28) with Joseph Keeney.

S-E: Amon Van Alst finished first in the 200 freestyle (2:07.19), 500 freestyle (5:38.87) and was on the winning 400 freestyle relay team (4:54.10) with Declan Wilson, Josh Larchar and Parker McCraken.

New Hartford 101.5, Weedsport 75.5

NH: Hassan Mousad finished first in the 200 freestyle (1:55.80), 100 fly (1:00.04) and swam a leg on the winning 400 freestyle relay team (3:34.31) with Matt French, Karim Mosaad and Mateo Ripa. Ripa was also the 100 backstroke (1:00.62) and 50 freestyle (23.96) winner and on the winning 200 medley relay team (1:53.60) with French, Richard Chen and Alex Bailey.

W: Austin Langdon finished first in the 100 breaststroke (1:22.08); Christina Jackson finished first in diving (227.15).

Section 3 boys swimming scores for Monday, Dec. 6

Oneida 99, Proctor 69

O: Andrew Hicks finished first in the 50 freestyle (23.20) and 100 backstroke (1:02.33). Hick was also swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay (1:55.20) with Preston Hoang, Ethan Schmitt and Jack Capotosto and the winning 400 freestyle relay team (3:50.57) with Caposto, Grady Gaudet and Schmitt.

P: Arman Tresnjo finshed first in the 100 butterfly (1:06.21) and the 200 individual medley (2:26.14). Zachary Gioppo finished first in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.93). Marius Balanean, Donovan Eady, Aubrey Campbell and Garret Nanna won the 200 freestyle relay (1:49.82) for the Raiders

New Hartford 101, Watertown74

NH: Matt French finished in first in the 100 backstroke (59.20) and was part of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:51.29) with Troy Luley, Alex Bailey and Brady DelMedico. Hassan Mousad finished first in the 200 individual medley (2:10.58) and. 100 breast stroke (1:04.47). He also swam a leg on the winning 200 freestyle relay (1:38.26) and 400 freestyle relay team (3:42.50)

W: Xander Gaige finished first in the 50 freestyle (23.54) and 100 freestyle (52.02).
