Section III releases boys lacrosse playoff brackets, TVL announces all-stars

The regular season has come to a close, and that means lacrosse playoffs are on the horizon. With playoffs beginning this weekend, Section III has released the playoff brackets for the postseason.

Along with brackets being released, the Tri-Valley League has announced their all-star selections for the year.

Here’s the breakdown of who the local teams will play in the playoffs and the TVL all-star selections:

Class A

No. 5 Rome Free Academy (3-9) at No. 4 Syracuse City School District (9-7) noon Saturday, May 21, at Fowler High School

Class C

No. 6 Carthage (11-6) at No. 3 New Hartford (12-3) 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at New Hartford High School

Class D

No. 8 Holland Patent (5-8) at No. 1 Skaneateles (11-5) 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at Skaneateles High School
