Section of Taft Hill Road to close near landfill for behavioral health facility work

A section of Taft Hill Road between Trilby Road and the Larimer County Landfill will be closed to traffic Thursday through Sunday for utility work related to construction of the Larimer County Behavioral Health Facility in southwest Fort Collins.

Through traffic will be detoured to Shields Street.

There will be access to the landfill, 5887 S. Taft Hill Road, via Harmony Road from the north.

Drivers should expect delays at the intersection of Taft Hill Road and Trilby Road. Alternate routes are advised.

The closure is dependent on weather.
